Lets look at this at a different angle. This is THT, so to put it in terms you might better understand, If is was a boat rated at 250HP and you asked us what we thought of same boat with 150hp? The first answer you would get would be, "it is rated for 250hp, get that". As to color? You really need to keep searching. It didn't fill that box, there is one out there that will.
Personally, I like the mustang with the turbo V6 or preferably supercharged Coyote. Droptop or not. Black on black.

Does it have to be a manual? I have a two nice stangs on my lot. Both verts but they are autos. One white and one black. Let me know if I can help in any way. I’m close to you. Send me a pm if you wish.

I flipping love it, and i dont' like wild colors, but that works, for a fun sporty show off car, get it

I buy used cars like I was ordering new. Exterior/ interior color, power train, options, mileage etc. I may compromise on something small but not much. There’s plenty of ways to search for the right ones. I’m willing to travel for exactly what I want, it’s all about the chase.
Seems you found the car before you knew what you wanted, can always try it out until you know what you want.

If you're only going to keep it a year or two, go for it. But if you're in it for a longer stint don't buy it. Not because of the color, but because of the EcoBoost. Long term reliability on those engines are terrible. Direct injection results in intake valve deposits; they've had head gasket problems, And then there's the issue of making oil - some models more so than others. Research a bit before committing to an EcoBoost. Again, if you're only in it while it's under warranty, enjoy. Otherwise proceed with caution.

Need for Green is the color.
Might be a clean trade in but the only thing that would make me leery of a car like that is the history and if it was a personal car or a rental? Op should check the carfax and see who it was originally registered to. It’ll say rental or fleet instead of private if it was an enterprise car.

I bought one vehicle that was a color I didn't want even though everything else met my requirements. I.sold that truck within the first year. I couldn't stand the sight of it even though I loved driving it.

Im in the front side of a dealer in sales. I don’t know much about the reliability of the ecoboost that’s in this car. But I believe that color debuted in 2019? Car may have been on the lot mid to late 2018 as the new ones usually come early. It looks like he’s at a dealer. If it’s a Ford store he can get them to certify it which would give him a 6 yr 100,000 mile warranty on it from original in service date. Cost on it is $695. Some dealers may charge more but that’s cost on it. Coverage is quite extensive and there is only a $100 deductible if the cost of repair is greater.

Depends on how fussy you are, and how important the perfect car is in relation to family, friends and possessions.

Hit the dealer with a low ball offer and use the cash for a wrap.

I say you go for it. You’d be able to park in the increasing number of spots that say “reserved for green vehicles”, and as an added bonus your car will look just as douchey as all the Prii in neighboring spots. (Note, according to Toyota the plural of Prius is Prii. SMH).

Well after seeing the pic, I could live with that. (Understanding I don't care for appx 75% of the Mustangs out there, because I have a SS Camaro droptop in my garage! ) But that car certainly has potential! I gotta admit, I love the thought of a manual trans, turbo engine! That can be fun. The purist in me wishes my SS had a manual in it (it has the paddle shifters on the wheel but that's rarely used) but since my wife drives it, a manual was NEVER an option! I think your car only needs two things to "complete it". Some sort of low/rocker panel stripes and a tail/spoiler of some sort. NOTHING crazy, just some "Shelbyesque" stickers running between the wheels along the rockers and a decent sized spoiler/tail (NOT anything ludicrous like the kids run nowdays that looks like scaffolding bolted atop the trunk lid!)

Sports cars are meant for fun and just that, "sport". Sure I wouldn't want one for a daily driver nor would I even want something overly bright in color. But when it comes to toys, why have limits???

Tell the seller you will buy it if they repaint it, your choice of color. Get what you want, In all things.
