First I'm not anti-mask although I will admit I'm not convinced they do anything. I do wear them in stores around here so the stores can stay open.
On the way back to the office I saw 3 people driving alone in their car wearing a face mask. Do they really think there's a need?

I've seen both walking and in car by themselves. Nut cases or scared of their shadow but its their choice.

By your reasoning, wearing a mask is like wearing a seat belt but not having a crash, or having a spare tyre without having a flat, I can't see any "harm" in wearing a mask when alone, perhaps the wearer is so used to it now that they don't notice it!

I have left mine on a few times (while driving solo) as I forget I am wearing it from time to time. I would absolutely love for you to stop me one day and call me an idiot for something that affects you how again?
Just a thought but maybe get over yourself in regards to judging others who's actions have zero effect on your life, this entire covid thing sucks but folks like you that drag it out over such trite things are real sweethearts.

When I first put on a hard hat at work, it drove me nuts and I'd take it off every chance I got. After a month, I found myself wearing it without thinking about it.

I remove mine the moment I exit a store or restaurant. I get some glares from people like I have 2 heads or something. It’s mind boggling to me the amount of folks in their vehicles, alone with them on.

Why does anyone care if somebody wears a mask alone in their car or outside walking or anywhere else. It really seems some are bothered by this, get some real concerns. I hate the darn things but wear it 24/7 if you want who cares.

If the masks are supposed to protect the people around you yet these people are wearing them in the cars when they are by themselves, and no one to protect , what does it tell you about the the people wearing the mask alone. ?
