Default Dam - Sex Offenders

I just got this link in an e-mail. Go to the link, type in your address, and see all the wonderful people living around you.

http://www.familywatchdog.us/

Not sure what the little "goat" symbol over HOTSPOT's house is for but I'll ask him next time I see him.

Seriously, this is kinda sobering.

None within 5 miles of my populated, yet extremely retired neigh-bore-hood.

A few outside my radius.... just glad my mug didn't show up.

There is one about half a mile away from me. There is an elementary school half a mile from that house. There is a church with a playground a quarter mile between us. Why don't they regulate where these fockers can live. I guess I will have to go buy some rope and start looking for suitable tree limbs just in case.

Instead of publishing where these animals live, we should care enough about our kids to make it a capital crime to molest one.
Anyone who gets off on a child is too sick to live and by all accounts has already molested 150 kids by the time he is caught.
The men of our family and some friends have a pact, if God forbid any of our kids gets molested, we won't call 9-11, we will call each other. We figure the cops have better things to do.

I just Checked the link. Unreal! 12 dots within 5 miles - and we're in a "nice" area.

I don't understand the whole abuse of minors thing. If you need some kind of "release" just go to any bar and announce "Who wants company tonight?" You'll probably get a half dozen raised hands....

Not trying to depend the animals, but the brush they use to paint sex offenders is a wide one. A guy I know is on the list. He was a few months into 18 yrs old and had consensual sex with a 16 yr old. Keep in mind this girl was 16 going on 35 and if she had as many stuck out of her, as in her, she'd look like a porcupine. He just was the one caught.

This is the problem I have with the sex offender’s list, it dilutes attention away from the very few/minority of people on the list that really are a threat. It is conservatively estimated that as many as 80% of the people on that list shouldn’t be there. The problem is we don’t know which 20% should be on it.

Registering sex offenders is like registering guns. Anyone that is going to engage in that kind of crime is NOT going to register their whereabouts.

Well, of the four dots within 5 miles of my house, three are red (child offence) and they look to be over 50. the other one looks about 20.

I do agree that a young man can get caught up in something unintended, speaking from experience. I didn't even have the fun of having sex with the girl, her dad just hated me and accused. Was a close one, couple lawyers and it went away.

My former boss was busted for downloading mostly adult porn on the job (county job at that). In the midst of the adult porn were some pics of 17-year olds. He is a registered sex offender for that. Does he deserve it? I don't know, but I would be much less worried about him than someone who had actually done (or tried to do) something like those creeps on "To catch a Predator" on Dateline.

In Florida, consensual sex with a minor is not a sex offense if the male is 24 or less, which protects the guy who is 19 with a 17yo consenting girlfriend. If over 24, it is (as it should be) a sexual offense.

The City of Tampa is considering an ordinance that would banish them from the city limits.
