I carry daily, and my holster of choice is the Solace, by Gunfighters, Inc.

Adam (The Owner) is a former US Paratrooper, and is a very, very good dude. His products are top shelf, and I have used his stuff for the past 7 or 8 years. It's similar to the Alien style hybrid but in my opinion, is far superior.

It stays put, but you can take it off and put it on quickly. I have one for several of my carry pistols.

I have a Desantis leather that I like for the Kimber,

I do like the look of the Solace above. May check one out for my Springfield.

I’ve bought more than I should have and the only thing I’ll use now is Ventcores by Stealthgear.

I've been using a wethepeople IBW type for years with a ruger 380 LCPII. I bought the left handed version so I can keep it in the small of my back and retrieve it correctly.

I just ordered a Hidden Hybrid Holster, should be here in a week or so. We will see what I think of it. Beyond that my current main carry is a kydex holster similar to the we the people holster mentioned already.

Those stealthgears mentioned by Flyau look interesting.

I like the adjustability. I'm right handed, but I would like the option to carry cross draw. Why you ask? I play gigs (guitar) in a lot of bars and I'm a right handed guitarist so IWB on the right hip wouldn't work in that scenario.

Interesting. I was taught it's better to use a same-handed IWB holster even in small of the back because you want to grasp the gun with palm facing your back, rather than try to get fingers and palm between the gun and your back.

One company's explanation, but to each his own: https://www.whitehatholsters.com/abo...l-of-the-back/

Very well priced and stand behind their stuff without hassle. No need to spend close to $100.

Having had/tried numerous holsters over the last 40+ years, I've found that keeping it simple works best. For the last couple of years I've been carrying a Shield 9mm every day in an IWB holster. It's comfortable, reliable, well made and fairly priced.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

I carry a shield and I have used N82 for years. Well made and super comfortable. I am a pistol instructor so I wear and try lots of holsters. Different holsters fit people different. Very few people settle on the first IWB they buy. Most have several and eventually a go to one. I like sticky holsters too for quick grabs. I store in console in Sticky and it's easy to grab and put in the waistband if I'm running in the grocery store and am not otherwise fully carrying.

Are any of you Shield owners carrying a .45 model and how do you like it?
