I had Canon 15x50 or 18x50, I forget which, awhile back. They were heavy but had fantastic optics. I could read a nameboard on a boat half a mile away. Without the stabilization engaged you couldn't hold them on what you wanted to see. I'd buy them again.

I've had the Canon ones for about ten years and I love them. I've only changed the batteries once. The IS works really well and the optics are clear & sharp.

Steiner makes the best binoculars hands down. Had mine for around 10years. My dads had his for about 30+ years.

These Fuji's are great. The Nikon StabilEyes 14x40 VR is the same product.

x2. If you keep an eye out you can find good deals on these. I think I picked mine up during a Black Friday sale but can’t remember where.

Either way they’re well worth it. They make finding birds offshore way easier. I’ve gotten so spoiled that I even bring them when I fish on other people’s boats because I can’t stand using non-stabilized binoculars on the boat now.
