Default Honeymoon Help

Getting married in late April 2021 and trying to figure out where to Honeymoon. Original plan was somewhere in Europe but will all the uncertainty to travel there we are looking at staying somewhere in North America. We have never been to Cabo and was thinking there but looking online it seemed touristy which is not our vibe but I know people on here may have more first hand experience. Thoughts or suggestions are welcome. TIA

What kind of place are you looking for and what is your "vibe"? Do you like beaches, mountains, quiet/remote, busy, etc.?

Yep, need more info on what the two of you want to do. And for the love of God ask the SO first! Don't just say "we're going to blah" this is something you (hopefully) only do once.

Check out Aruba. Beautiful, clean and relaxing. Been there a few times and this is the first year we are not going in December.
Cant wait to go back.

Cayman Islands should be in the conversation. They have had some strict lockdowns, so I am not sure what that will look like in April.

We're getting married in March 2021, and our plan is to go to Puerto Rico for our honeymoon. Half at an AirBNB we found up in the mountains and a half at the beach. We have some big work stuff immediately after, so we're delaying our honeymoon a couple months.

Hawaii, everything from bustling Waikiki to the remote Na Pali coast and everything in between

Ive had 2 costa rica trips cancelled, I have re-scheduled for April 2021. My fear is I wont be able to get out of there.

What about just waiting? There are going to be some killer vacation deals when things open back up. OR if you have a capable boat, bahamas? You can at least have a chance of doing what you want with your own mode of transport.

Congrates HoneyB2 & CUTiger2011.....

If you don't like the touristy vibe but like the Caribbean Islands you might want to check out Grenada.

Staniel Cay is great....get your own little hut, and your own little boat right out front of your hut, and go where you want...with nobody babysitting...we're going again next winter. Each day you are given a picnic basket..you hop in your boat, and go where you want within a....substantially large radius. You can go to little islands, sand bars, keys, where there is NOBODY else. Run around naked all day!

If you want a similar thing but more luxurious..a few islands over is Fowl Cay. This is on our bucket list.
