Default iphone 12. who's buying?

I used to be the guy that wanted the latest, greatest (gotta have it!) tech item.
But over the last few years, maturity has taken over and I don't feel the need to stay as connected with the bleeding edge of tech.
That said, I'm currently running an IPhone 7. The chip and battery are slowing down - and honestly it was "time" for something new.
Placed my order last week with a Verizon manager/friend. Went with the IPhone 12 Pro (not the Max).

While I know that 5G is basically hocus pocus at this time, I'm excited about the new upgraded cameras.

Anyone else upgrading?

I will. Apple has been very good to me. I have xs and just finished my payments. So my phone is working fine and 5g is new...enough that Iím not sure the perks yet. Will probably take a few months of 0 pmnts and upgrade. Depends on Verizon plan and perks .

Iím thinking mini cuz I really like being able to do all in one hand. Anytime I have to bring my other hand to balance the phone etc im annoyed. Again depends on performance etc.

I'm waiting on mine now, I have a Iphone 7 that the battery is dying on. Att was running a trade in special so I took advantage of that to get the 12, the wife had a XS max she wanted to upgrade the size of so she's getting the pro for like $150 with her trade in. I'm stuck for 30 months, which honestly I have had Att for the last 5 years anyways so I don't see that changing.

Staying with my iphone 8 plus, next move will be to replace the battery but in no hurry, very satisfied since it came out.

We just replaced my Wife's iphone 6 due to the battery not staying charged for long. Decided to go with an inexpensive SE. I just read too many articles that claim 5G networks aren't ready for prime time, so I figured we'll hang back and give it a few years and if 5G seems to have improved, then we'll upgrade.

The wife will probably get one. She's cracked her screen on her 3 year old phone and she uses it as her on the go computer and everything else.... so its about time to move on. My old 10 is still doing well so Ill be waiting a while.

I will probably upgrade to the mini. Currently have the 8 with a cracked screen, been that way for awhile. The nearest Apple store is 1hr away and I have to set an appointment to get it fixed. Aint' nobody got time for that.

when you say your stuck for 30 months, thatís just then payments for your new phone.

they donít do it like they did back in the day where if you signed a 2 year contract you got a phone for free etc.

if the phone is $900, they just make you pay $30 month extra for 30 months. I just buy them out right

I'm replacing my 7 with the 12 through our corporate upgrade program. My upgrade came due on 10/11, and I had no clue the 12 was coming out, so I ordered the 11. They shot me a message that same day and asked me if I wanted to wait for the 12 which was just being released, and when I found it was only a week, I decided to wait and go with the 12. It'll be the first time in memory that I've actually been ahead of the curve on versions. I've always been the one with the outdated phone. The 7 has been excellent, so I can't wait to get my hands on the 12. If I had to go out and buy one at MSRP, I'd just hang on to the 7.

I've never had an iphone but I'm finally switching from android (pixel 2xl) to iphone 12 pro. Mine arrives tomorrow. I'm going to miss a lot of the android flexibility. I'm changing due to my family (wife and kids on iphones) and some work related tasks where I use an ipad. Definitely not an apple fan but I have to admit they just work.

12?

I'm rocking the SE and will do so until it dies or I do!

I think the letters stand for "senior edition".

My 2020 car has an interstellar flight control panel running the radio and hvac.

Less tech for me thank you.
