Default I知 trying to spend money, but....

Not getting products. I知 done for a while.

ordered a shed at Lowes for $1500 8/5/20. Delivery due 9/1. I was ok with that. Still nothing and they charged my Amex and I already paid the bill. I gave them one week.

ordered a $700 self propelled lawn vac 3 weeks ago, again at Lowes. In stock and store pick up was 3-7 days. Order still states 電elayed.

ordered a trifold hard cover for my wife痴 new truck. $900. They took a $400 deposit. Was due in 2 weeks. On to week four. Cap company says they are continually reaching out to MFG.

going to start canceling stuff and sit on the sidelines till spring I think.

While a machine machine truly sucks to wait for, I'm all in favor of us being weened off of China and all the crap they peddle. Bring back American Manufacturing and we'll never run out of crap like this again.
I can pray for that!

I only order from Lowes as a last resort. They've botched *every* order I've made with them in the last 5+ years. Night and day between them and Home Depot, at least in my experience.

To the OP regarding the order that says pending, I suggest calling or going to the store. There's a good chance it's there and they don't know it.

I'm still waiting for 4 garage doors that were due by the end of September. Not from HD or Lowes.

We ordered some lounge chairs for our roofdeck back in July. New shipping timeline December. Don’t need them but it’s getting ridiculous.

Company called Covers and All. January I ordered a custom sized cover for a green egg stand I built. Came in three weeks. April I order three covers for equipment mounted in the back of a truck. Still waiting. Found out they are made in India then shipped DHL here. COVID killed their supply chain. Funny thing I keep getting emails with 15-20% off sales from them every few weeks. My guess is new orders are paying for the lights to stay on and they are shipping what they can pay the supplier.

No this was a local company; owner is a neighbor.

Chicken dinner, we have a winner!

If everyone would just stop buying crap from Chinnnaaaaaaa, the problem would solve itself in 5 years, max.

But as we all know folks are way to "Me Oriented" for that to happen!

Oh how I would just LOVE to be able to buy everything I need from made in the good ol USA.

I wanted to buy a sofa from Wayfair back in March/April/May for the boat

Picked it out, it's nice, Sunbrella fabric figured it'd hold up a little better being a boat sofa

So I call Wayfair (many, many times) and they wouldn't even answer the phone?
Then when they finally did they could not even tell me when I would get it?

It's a thousand bucks all in, despite me explaining to them that I do not need a sofa delivered in October for my boat that comes out at the end of October they still just couldn't tell me approximately when I would have it. It was really, really annoying. I still do not have a sofa and and am glad I never threw out the crappy 1980s loveseat that came with the boat.

We ordered 2 custom sofas and a custom sleeper, they told us 12 weeks. MUCH to our shock, they arrived in 8 weeks. Everything is built to order, so we assumed the worst, quite happy in the end.

I ordered a windbreaker jacket from a clothing company in May and it still hasn't come. My daughter ordered a Bosch dishwasher from Lowes first of August, supposed to be delivered in 2 or 3 weeks, still hasn't arrived, I think she may have cancelled the order.

Similar experience. Some of the problem is on Lowes. Some is due to supply chain.
Ordered a dishwasher on Saturday, getting delivered today. Not Lowes. Lowes cannot answer the phone much less tell me what they have in stock-available for delivery.

I'm in the business.. All of our manufacturers of outdoor furniture are now 12-15 weeks from date of purchase.. Had one send an email a little while ago stating "No new orders until further notice while we try to catch up". I've got some manufacturer's, not outdoor, quoting 40 weeks for delivery.
