What brand/type slide lube for striker fired pistol? My g20 has had zero since purchase and I am not the best at maintenance.
Cracker, Lube or No Lube that is the question.

Lube. Don't need to soak the thing, but a couple drops then operate the slide a few times when finishing cleaning. Not a spray for this, but the needle tip kind.

Lube points on your Glock any gun lube is fine
A small drop on your four slide rails
a small drop on top of the barrel where the slide rubs
A small drop on the side of the slide where the extractor connects.
I smear a little oil on the slide and metal sights to help with rust
I scrub the extractor claw and face with a toothbrush
Wipe down the spring with an oily rag
brush down the barrel, oily patch through barrel and clean feeding ramp
That is about it..

I expected a completely different direction based on the title...

I clean mine every once in a while and then use this after. Apply and then wipe off. Leaves a light coat of Teflon.

The wrong oil is better than no oil. I was sold on Mil-Comm products when a sample came with a new Sig Sauer. A few top gun smiths consider it one of the best gun lubes available. TW25b grease is probably their most popular product but it is not oil which is what gun manufacturers call for most of the time. I mix my TW25b 50-50 with MC2500 oil in a needle oiler with great results. Mil-Comm MC3000 semi-fluid I believe is similar to this mix.
Rem-Oil and Hoppe's Elite gun oil are very thin & I've read warnings against their use, particularly in high heat. Are the warnings internet BS?
One famous gun lube is coconut oil. Lawsuits have been launched to prevent the release data of a high tech gun oil actually being vegetable seed oil. A prominent name in high end bicycles repackages chainsaw bar oil with a huge markup for bicycle chains.
Caveat emptor.
