Default Population

Carbon emissions, deforestation, sources of energy, clean water and air, etc etc etc blah blah blah. Isn't the real problem too many people?

I'm not volunteering too off myself, but fewer humans seems like the answer that nobody wants to admit.

I'm guessing if Earth had a say, people wouldn't be missed and she would do just fine without us.

Current population is roughly 7.8 billion. I'm not sure what a good balance is for our natural resources vs population?

When the population gets too high a (previously manufactured) targeting virus is released. This one didn't kill enough so plan B is next. Plan B is NOT going to be pretty.

Birth rates in developed countries has declined in many cases below replacement rates. Depopulation can actually be an issue with many seniors and less workers.

We recently watched a terrible movie with a seriously twisted plot. Because of my CRS, I can't recall the name......
At age 72, they throw a huge party for you and then you climb a hill where you leap to your death by landing on a huge rock.
If you didn't fully die, they took turns smashing your head with a sledge hammer!!

This is a great plan to help reduce our national debt And save resources. generations ago everybody received a pension after working for a company 30-40 years. Retire at 60, putz around the house for 5-10 years and then most people die. Companies could easily fund a modest pension, unfortunately its people like my Great grandfather who lived till 96 and my grandfather who only lasted till 95 that screwed up the system.

Nowadays people spend almost as much time retired as working. Add in monthly Dr appointments and SS checks and a ton of resources are being used up.

As Im nearing 50 and my youngest wont be graduating college till Im 67, I really like the current system that is in place.

Yup, too many people. But you ain't gonna find me heading to the front of the line and I ain't volunteering anyone in my family at this time either. We have a habit of avoiding mother nature but I don't exactly fault anyone for that. No gazelle willingly walks into the lions maul.

Or, you can look at it this way, the planet is going to end either way, Don't matter if we are here or not.

Yea!!! How dare those inconsiderate losers prolong life, improve quality of life, reduce pain from disease and invent all manner of product to allow a "first world" where we can complain about life?!?!?! We never asked for you to be doctors, engineers, and scientists!!! Get off my lawn and stop focusing on PEOPLE!!!

Something to ponder. If every one needed an average of 4 square feet (2'x2') we could all fit in Rhode Islands 1200 square miles easily. Rounding up to 28 million sq. ft. Per sq. mile, dividing then by the 4 sq. ft. Per person, you get 7 million people per sq mile, so with Rhode Islands roughly 1200 sq miles, then 8,400,000,000 (8 billion) people could stand shoulder to shoulder in Rhode Island. The entire world population could stand like this, in 4 square foot blocks, into Americas smallest state. So are we really overpopulated?

Eugenics is the answer. We are smart enough.......

properly run; tax breaks, free/low housing, free medical can curb the population explosion without the use of WAR. The human race is suffering horribly by allowing these Walmart science experiments to continue. It would take cooperation from every nation and a positive vote from the electoral voters here locally along with some overdue changes to our constitution. Our founding fathers never expected everything to stay the same but change with the times.

I've believed for the past thirty years that over-population is the root of all our earthly problems.
