My son just grabbed some from the ABC liquor store near us for his GF father who lives in Mississippi, He was down here a few weeks back and said the same thing.
Gotta try some now.

My son is a retail beer buyer in SC. He had 50 cases come in AM Friday and sold 20 of them the same day (yesterday). Waiting to see how many he sold today (Sat).
He said people have been coming in for a few weeks asking about it.

I just had my liquor store order some. Is it sweet or more like a stout with a chocolate finish? I have to wait until next Thursday to try it.

I've been a Yuengling (Trad Lag) disciple since they first started distributing in my state (TN) back in 2007. I've been dying to try this but can't find it here locally. Damn I'd love to find some...

It's good Damn good . I don't drink much beer and am far from a beer snob If I could take the after effects I would enjoy Budweiser but sitting on the toilet with a splitting headache the next day just isn't fun.

Ironically, Yuengling isn’t available in Wisconsin.

Yes, that's punishment for not sharing New Glarus with us.

Its a really good beer, its a porter with a Hershey chocolate after taste. A conversation beer that pairs well with desserts, not a hand over fist beer or a beer that you drink at dinner. I had a 1/4 keg of it last year and it lasted almost 4 months before it kicked. It was available end of Oct in NJ and moat likely the same time this year but because it did so well last year at the bars, they are making it available in bottle and I see it being hard to get. Im a big yeungling drinker, love all of their beers except the light lager (missing something in taste) It will be available from late October through February. They also just teamed up with Coors brewing Co to extend their product out west and get their beer to more people across the country. America's oldest brewery and its American owned!

OK....A 1/4 of a keg that lasted 4 months. Turn in your man card!

A porter with a 4.7% alc content? No thank you. That’s beer flavored water.

Yup. If I'm drinking a porter I expect it to be 6-7% ABV at least. My absolute favorite porter is Ballast Point - Victory At Sea.

The peanut butter and barrel aged are very, very good.

You're a funny guy ...... Like I said, its not a hand over fist beer. I can sit at my bar throw darts, watch TV and have endless lagers, but the Hershey's porter to me isn't that kind of beer- to each their own

Exactly. Not much ABV and sugary. A perfect beer for the females.

Picked up my first six pack today and it is tasty stuff. I think Yuengling is conservative on the alcohol numbers. It has the low end power of a 6% beer.

Turn in your man cards over the flavored beers
