Default Hrricane Delta ...

The folks in Louisiana have had quite a hurricane season. Looks like another low forming just south of the western tip of Cuba.

Sucks. Like the Lake Chuck area needs another thrashing.

Looks like this thing should weaken a bit before landfall. Hopefully. So if anything lived through the last one, hopefully will live through this one.

Hang in there guys!!

My daughter in getting her insurance check today, but still has a blue roof. The piles of debris are still in front of each house on her street. Bad news for Lake Charles residents for sure.

Yep, Lake Charles may only get 60 mph winds now. That would be wonderful.

59/95 2 miles from my house at airport with south end of my hood under water. Neighbor says water coming through doors and windows currently. No report on tarps yet but I doubt they are still on our roof. Just informed our power is out so we will begin the drying out process a second time. Good news is 90% of my house is down to studs so less area to dry

Yes Chosen Valley subdivision south of ham reid rd. Tarps made it but more water in three rooms that weren’t gutted entirely. Water remediation guys are going by Monday morning to access further drywall damage and contact insurance adjuster.
We also have a third heading into the gulf, need to find out what Vegas odds are for a third direct strike.

That stinks. Daughter flooded this time, about an inch or two throughout. Just enough to fubar the floors and anything on the ground. Garage got about 6 inches and garage door is bent. Could have been worse.
