Default travel to MA, COVID restrictions?

Anyone know how strict they are? Wife wants to see her 89yr mother. We'd be traveling from Fl. Am I going to get busted with FL plates?

Com’on up! If you’re driving who’s to say you weren’t quarantined for 14 useless days before?

No one is going to pull you over because you have Florida plates, but you are supposed to quarantine for 14 days. You'll be going thru many other states before hitting MA, what are their policies?

I thought you had to quarantine when you arrived? I assume you could just say you are visiting and quarantining with the person you are seeing?

My buddy has been driving around mass for 6 months with Florida plates.

id just come on up

Not that restrictive here.... masks in stores required like anywhere else and restaurants have some quirky rules - tables need to be spaced apart etc..

I just received this for an employee we are sending up there. Its a pretty easy process. Funny thing is read the high risk vs low risk states in there. Its pretty laughable to me.

People are without a doubt crazy up here. But I don’t think you’ll have any problems.
I didn’t think we are even still requiring the quarantine.

The whole travel restriction thing was on your honor as early on the governor said they would not be making traffic stops. He was also generous enough to allow a Rhode islander like me into the state to shop if I lived near the state line.

14-day quarantine of face a $500/day fine. At least that is what it was when I looked into it. I grew up there and know it can be a very difficult place to navigate once you get involved with the government so we just decided to skip this year.

Heading up there for a couple days myself the week after next. Going to visit my son in Cambridge. He just moved there this past spring. I've never been to MA before.

Cambridge is a whole different ballgame and you could be questioned with out of state plates. Lot of Karen’s and Kens and stick their noses in other people’s business and the city, last I heard, has their own mandatory mask requirement anywhere in public or public spaces.

The rest of the state has plenty of FL and NY plates zooming around.
