Default Plumbers - Boiler question

My boiler needs some repairs so I have been looking into a possible replacement. Its a 17 yr. old HB smith cast iron and the suggetsed replacement is a BIASI B-10 that could be done for $3600 out-the-door. It is a low water / hi efficiency thing. I don't know if the low water content is a good idea. Also it has 3 pass heatexchanger which sounds to me like - yea efficient but easy to clog up.

Any thoughts on this brand - or any others - Is this about the goig price in CT - sounded pretty darn reasonable to me. My buddy just paid close to 7,000.

Don't have any knowlege of the BIASI brand, price seems about right. Don't let the size fool you, the efficency of boilers today are amazing, and should cut your fuel bill by a 1/3rd.
