Weirdest CL ad ever for a Boat

If it was so easy to make money selling legos by the pound why would this guy just not do it on his own and buy twice the boat?

Don't know about this instance, but lots of times when you see things like this, they come from self storage or warehouse auctions.
Self storage places have auctions where you get the contents of the unit that were left behind by previous tenant.
A lot of them are done sight unseen for contents. If you buy a lot of these, eventually you usually get some real nice things to resell at a nice profit.
The "what in the world is this" ones, you have to get creative in getting rid of.

Why in the world would he sell or trade them for $12,000 when he could sell them on eBay like he said was EZ and make $21,000..... Then he could buy a nicer boat.

He's not wrong, they do sell. This auction has 438 sold.

But, you are only making about $12 a pound after you factor in shipping.
