More people are leaving California than moving to it. Texas appears to be a popular destination for those leaving California. You should be fine where you're at.

Conservative states should be able to charge Impact Fees to anyone relocating from a s#!thole state to a normal state.

Why do they vote like they do for decades, turn it into a s#!thole place, move to a better place, then continue voting the same way? Because they like being part of the problem rather than part of the solution? Doesn't make sense to me. We might need a southern border wall but we need several other walls too...around certain states.

This would never happen if they had kept Arnold Schwarzenegger as governor.

I work with a guy who just moved his family to Texas. He had a nice place in overlooking the Pacific and is very conservative. He said he just couldn’t take it anymore. So not everyone who is leaving is a left wing nut job.

I just don't understand how this is going to work.

Ok, no gas vehicles... so now you've put gas stations out of business. no need for truck drivers to deliver chips and drinks to them, never mind gas trucks, so they're now out of work. repair shops, out f work. how many dealerships will go out of business? Tesla sure as F isn't going to set up shop on each corner to replace them. regular Joe's are affording a Tesla anyway...

how about fire trucks, police, ems, ect? they're going to go electric??

are these new cars to go have a governor so they can't exceed 75 MPH too?

So short sighted... Cali can even keep it's own state on a the grid, black outs every other week, they're going to now add all these charging stations and add them to the grid?? come on maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!

Because liberalism is a disease that affects cognitive reasoning. Even though every key indicator proves that their way of thinking destroyed where they lived, they simply cannot fathom that they themselves are the cause. So, like the vermin they are, they invade, destroy, leave. Rinse and repeat....

Throw in simplicity of electric power trains over ICE's and development costs go way down. They have been squeezing gas engines for years for every last MPG. No more huge power train engineer budgets no more tuning software for gas engines. Assembly costs go down. Eventually they will crack the nut but we will likely never see it in our lifetimes.

Bright side of all this is gas is cheap and more than likely get even cheaper or at worst stay where it is.

Disposal of used up toxic batteries will be the next issue. What are they going to do with all of that?

California is a state of progress. People want to live and do business there that is why so many companies are headquartered there.

also the should be able to run their state as they want to.

If I lived in Texas I'd be pissed. They are going to ruin the state. I was hoping the prevalence of firearms would keep them away, but they appear to be ignoring them until they can establish a beach head. A tract of land adjacent to a gun range will be purchased, turned into a residential area, and then they'll fight to get the range shut down because it's so close to people's homes. The high property taxes of Texas will become sky high, tolls will quadruple, gas prices will almost double, and lots of new taxes will spring up.
