Default Super star mega yachts....

It's amazing how ugly some of these are. I guess I am just boring...I like that classic "salty" look. Those yachts with the "Euro" look to me are just terrible.

(and I clearly don't know how to hyper-link, I have tried 5 times LOL)

Not sure about that list. There are bigger and more expensive yachts out there. Is it just a list of American owners?

It's just a list....I know there are far bigger. I was just surprised at how little style some of these people have when it comes to their yacht.

Not that I know anything about, "yachts", but I bet most of them almost never are on the boat and don't know the bow from the stern.
They asked someone, "I want to but a boat but don't have a clue as to what to get. What do you think?"
Good for them spending that $$ and keeping the builders in business.

I guess when you have the money. I doubt these guys use their boat more than a few weekends a year though. Well not Branson, he is different but the most of them probably pay out the ass to own one of these things and charter it out at a loss when not in use.

Wow MJ has a 230ft 80mil sportfish. The writer clearly has no idea about boats or what they look like.

I'm involved in some of the systems commonly found on these yachts. A lot of owners don't know much about them, and don't spend a lot of time on them. They are just status symbols basically.

Laughable at the values they come up with . The last one Rock It is owned by the owner of Jimmy Johns .

I think that article is BS.. Some of the prices seem super low, some seem overly inflated.. MJ's Viking cost $80M? Brad Pitt's boat sends signals that jams cameras from taking pics? Cmon now..

I wonder how many on the list actually own them or have just been spotted on them. Ive seen similar list of private jets that are charter jets with the same over inflated values.

Long list I lost interest on the way down.
So Clapton got a different boat than the one I remember in my teen years, I was working at Abbotts Lobsters in Noank....saw her out at the mouth of the river.

I read an article that explained how much of the costs of these yachts are payed for by taxpayers in the form of business deductions, charter use, etc. Like the corporate Lear Jets.
