Default Finally got an AR today

Took the admiral shopping for engineered wood floors. We spent an hour looking at different options and had several samples to take back home. Gun store in the same parking lot.

As we were leaving, I said let's go in the gun store. Walked over to the counter where there were handguns and asked about 9 mm - guy said these are the only 3 he had and was showing them to us. I asked if he had any ARs, and he said 3 came in today, and they just unloaded them. He handed me a Sig and wife said why don't you buy it. I said ok and walked out with a new AR15.

Now to find a flooring or lighting store next to an boat dealer - need a couple new outboards.

Nice! Better to have and not need, than to need and not have. Now, the hard part (ammo).

CLVL, I need your wife to join me and the wife for the next shopping trip.

I have a dozen M4/M16 magazines that need a home.

That's a good day! Congrats CLVL! Pics of wife or gun, or wife with gun is appropriate.

Sig Sauer makes good guns, I have some of their pistols but have looked at their rifles. I bought one and transferred it to my brother, he didn't have a full sizes 45.
Ammo is overpriced currently.

My current attitude, as I now own a Ruger 7.62 AR rifle (they stopped producing it) that is somewhat proprietary in nature, I will never own a gun with any proprietary parts again... I think Sig Sauer uses some proprietary stuff too..
