Tomorrow is the 19th anniversary of the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil. Please remember the victims of the attack, pray for their families, and remember and honor the men and women who served and sacrificed during and after the attack. God Bless America!

As a 28 year firefighter, that day will always be in my thoughts personally and professionally. I was not on the pile but one of my fellow firefighters went to NYC and worked the pile for a week. He was never the same when he came back.

I was in high school and CeeCee Lyles, a classmate’s mom, was on Flight 93. Many brave people on that flight.

I transported a few very important people to ground 0. This was my escort for 4 days. Nothing was going to happen to my passengers

I was in school. The teachers had the TVs on but wouldn’t tell us what was going on.

My parents were supposed to be in NY on the 12th. My dad was supposed to work on the 87th floor of the south tower and my mom had this big shopping trip planned at the basement mall.

I was about to go to class...and I turned on the TV. Everything changed. Nice to see we aren't starting more wars.

Never forget! I lost 343 fellow firefighters that day. I have not forgotten who attacked us and I never will. I am truly blessed to have been able to live my life and enjoy my family in this great nation.

I will never forget watching the second plane hitting the tower live on TV. My niece just cleared five years cancer free of lung cancer. She worked the towers as a NYC police officer. My best friend held the last subway train to fill the cars with passengers as the tower was collapsing. He pulled the train out in time, but he has never been the same and suffers from PTSD. I just finished putting up at half staff, the "Flag of Honor" that carries the names of those that perished on 9-11. The tower train station was my area of responsibility but thankfully I retired the year before.

I'll never forget walking out of my house to go to work at 0400 on 09/12/2001 and looking up at the skies. Creepy quite and realizing why, not a plane in the sky, world wide. What a horrible time.
