Default Wasp Nest Removal - A Towel and Duct Tape

These motherfreakers. Just overhead of my boat under the shed roof and I'm trying to get ready for a 10 day trip. No time to waste, this is how you get it done..........don't try this at home, I am a trained professional

I saw a guy on tv just grab the nest with his bare hands. I think it was on american pickers. I thought that was crazy too.

I had a can of spray on standby. I was actually standing in the boat so whatever I sprayed would have dripped all inside the boat and didn't want that.

Many years ago I pulled the same trick laying under a boat dash trying to access windshield bolts, also successful.

I use the foam wasp spray. The foam keeps them from flying away. Spray at night when they are all on the nest for maximum effect.

To kill any insect , just mix soap and water in a pump up sprayer and spray them ! They drop like flies , dead flies ! Works every time . Just make sure its really soapy

Between the possibility of multiple bee stings and the ensuing header off the ladder, I’d opt for a can of Raid and handle it from 15’ away. Lol. Nice job OP.

Maybe an old nest? I don’t think the red wasps around here use the same one the next year.
