Default Just Blew my Tractor Engine...

Was just mowing my backyard and my 1997 Murray ride on mower engine blew... Heard the loudest explosion, and was hoping it was just a head gasket but NO The piston went straight through the block... It's Done...

What a eventful Sat! It worked great for years with repairs here and there, new blades, new belt, a multiple carburetors but it's days are done. RIP

Probably was briggs engine?

I had a murray pushmower, self propelled for 25 yrs. 7hp briggs. Replaced cables, wheels, etc. Finally began spewing oil after i used it to mulch pinecones and sticks a few times ...hurricane cleanup..i sacrificed it. That was a good mower...but cables broke and were $100 to replace each time....drive wheels 75. Wasnt gonna keep doing that...cheaper to buy new mower
