Great video.

Not much on flying, however at one time, years ago, i almost built a Benson Copter, sort of a pusher autogiro, then a fella got killed in one at our local airport which took the shine off the idea.

My favorite airplane of all time is the Gee Bee.

Airplane design, in my mind, is a lot like the design of boats, a great design is a thing of beauty.

I don’t own one but the design of the Parker Pilot House boats are the ultimate to me.

My likes may depend a lot on functionality as regards the Parkers.

If I fished the ocean I would sell my soul to buy a Parker pilot House.

Thanks for posting the link!

Some 75 years old and the DC-3 still stands as one of the best planes ever built and the Mustang they are flying in the video...is absolutely beautiful...a flying work of art.

Gee Bee... Is the guy who built the replica still doing airshows? I remember seeing him at airshows a couple of times. Impressive little plane.

Thanks for the post about One Six Right. Now I am compelled to order the DVD. Just can't decide if I should buy the standard, or the Hi Def DVD, as I've yet to buy that HDTV that I've been wanting.

Yep, he is still flying his GEE BEE copy. His Name is Delmar Benjamin, a remarkable fella.

This coming summer wife and I will be visiting the airport at Windsor Locks CT where they have an exact full size copy of the Gee Bee.

Below a Photo of the Gee Bee at Windsor locks also photo of my models of my favorite airplane the Gee Bee.
