Default Magma Kettle 2

Santa and the crew got me a Magma Kettle 2 with the rod holder mount, utensils and storage bag/cover. I can't wait to use it for burgers, hot dogs and of course thanks to Bailey Boat, BRATS!!!

What I am wondering is this: I have a bay/flats boat and I want to be able to store everything as effectively as possible for the time when it isn't being used, but I am bouncing some ideas around my head like plastic milk cartons (the big storage kind) or something.

What do you all use and how do you like it? I look forward to all ideas but remember, I am looking for the most effecient way to store everything away..

Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I just put it in the forward locker. There are extra jackets and other padding and when the grill is in the bag, it will not scratch anything.

Storage....... hell I'm too busy using mine !!!! Chris, as you know, mine fits into a plastic crate along with everything needed and just slides under the console. It's handy, always ready to go and everything is in one place...... Don't forget the Grey Pupon...........

I bought mine from Fast Louie (he works behind most grocery stores) and modified it slightly but it holds everything in the one case. And for you nay-sayers....... yes, I got a receipt................ I just can't seem to find it........

Bailey, I can't remember - was that crate one of those milk crate style or bigger?

If not a milk crate, got a pic?

I picked up a Magma Kettle 2 this fall (clearance sale for 100 bucks), why do you need to lug the thing around with you every time you go out?

Garett, I won't lug it around every time I go out, but think about this - when I have the grill, it's more than likely during more recreational boating and therefore will have more water toys on board, additional bags (like towels for the admiral, her purse, etc.). You know, when it is just the guys there are three essentials - BEER, GAS and TACKLE. When it's the ladies, it's the kitchen sink..

When the ladies are on board, you gotta keep 'em happy. Having said that, keeping the decks somewhat clear is of utmost importance for them to have a good time.

I hear what you're saying Woody, I agree with your thinking, but I disagree with your approach. What you need to do is get yourself a huge tow behind the boat inner tube and put them back there, if they're laughing they'll have to be happy! And if the sea's are ruff, then who gives a sh!t anyways!

It's 13 X 19 X 7 with no dividers inside. You'll need to cut the sides to allow the grill to sit inside and a bungee cord holds it in the crate....... Let me know if you still want a pic and I'll do one when I get home Friday.....

Yeah Bill, pllease do post up a pic when you can... I think I know what you are talking about, but I'd like to see it - I'm a visual person I guess.
