Default Happy Anniversary Rick...!

17 years today...alcohol and substance free....

This aint for everyone. But I sure as hell am grateful and thankful it took. I spent nine years trying to get my first year.

For those of you who feel the need to quit.....remember, it's not easy. What's easy is drinking. There's a lot of help out there. And no one wants to see you fail.

Good job.
I never started drinking cause I knew I would not know when to stop. If I could only stop eating.

Congratulations 🎉.

I am the product of a father who decided to get clean over 45 years ago. If he hadn't made that decision my mother would never have met him and I wouldn't be here today.

Yeah....there is almost always something. I had pissed a great business away, was having to sell our dream home on the intercoastal in Englewood, Fl....and then my daughters near death and brain injury in an auto accident made me realize there was no way in hell I was going to be of any use to her and her recovery unless I put everything down and cleaned up.

God bless her, she survived and we regularly have lunch together. She lives with the ex...and we all can get along fine today. And will....as long as I stay sober.

For those that have not met Rick, I can attest to his story.

Congratulations Mr. Rick...
