Sara Evans -Brad Paisley -Eric Church
I saw them in Columbia a few months ago, I was very impressed with Brad Paisley, he is amazing on guitar, which was a huge surprise to me. Sara Evans was decent, she has amazing talent, but her band to me comes across as a buch of morons, they were simply too distracting on stage IMO, and didn't seem to complete the overall presentation.

I am not that big of a country fan at all, but do tolerate it for the most part. Normally I listen to classic rock, or any new bands that have talent beyond just vocals, anyone can play bar cords and sing nice, it takes talent to put the vocals with the music. I don't mind vocals only, or limited background support, but if you make the support end of it overbearing, with no talent, I have no use for your "music".

Current favorites include:

Metalica
Dave Matthews Band
Cast Iron Filter
The Blue Dogs
Gov'ment Mule
Marshall Tucker Band (not exactly current I know, but the are a fixture on the list).

I hear ya Autobahn!

I have been a M.T. fan since forever, my wife was born in Spartanburg, her family knew the Caldwells, and has always been a fan.

My 8 yr old son and I always sing duet to 'Fire on the Mountain' while driving down the road...

My daughter is a big fan of Evanescense, and I have to admit I like that band a lot too.

As of this posting, I have 1456 mp3's on my computer...

What else am I listening to lately...
Sevendust, Cake, R.H.C.P.'s, Primus, Steve Earle, Patsy Cline, Tool, Disturbed, C.C.R., Molly Hatchet, Journey, Rush, Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray Vaughn, STP, Led Zep, *ZZ Top* (one of my favs) , Billy Idol, Bob Seger, Steve Miller, <- (Lost my cherry listening to 'Book of Dreams) , Gretchen Wilson, Blackfoot, Seether, Thin Lizzy have played on my mp3 player in the last 10 hours or so...

If there was a station that played only Meatloaf, Jimmy Buffet, Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, and Bruce Springsteen I wouldn't ever have to change the station (except to listen to the Gators or the Saturday morning fishing report on AM).
