Yeah, but he said his friend has one and has a problem with it, therefore ALL 2020 Corvettes are junk.

We are not going to build all of the 2020 orders," a General Motors spokesperson told the Detroit Free Press.
GM is suspending orders for the 2020 C8 Corvette.

Instead, GM will offer customers and dealers a 2021 option.

Saw a truck load at a dealer on Monday. Cars are under a full car covering.

I ordered mine in Feb and was to be delivered in August. That date has been pushed back a few months.

Dunno. It came from a Cape Coral / Ft Myers Florida Dealer.

Edit: Just checked a photo he sent that day - Dealer sign in the background is Roger Dean Chevrolet.

Numerous twin turbo kits out there already for them putting down some impressive numbers. The Zora with hybrid tech will be a very interesting vehicle.

I hope not. He needs to cool his heels for a time.

It was starting to rain and he was trying to get home a "little quicker". Hydroplaned, went off the road and finally a tree stopped him. All the air bags went off. Amazing he wasn't hurt or killed.

Chevrolet confirmed it built about 2,700 units of the 2020 Corvette between February 3, when the model entered production, and March 20, when the Bowling Green, Kentucky, factory shut down to fight the coronavirus. This low figure suggested the 2020 model would become one of the rarest in recent memory, but the firm announced the final number will grow exponentially if unexpected delays don't bring the assembly line to a halt.

Enthusiast website
Corvette Blogger pointed out Bowling Green builds about 11.5 cars per hour, meaning it churns out 92 cars during an eight-hour shift. Approximately 10,120 examples of the Corvette will drive off the assembly line between June and November 2020, so Chevrolet will need to run a second shift for approximately 15 weeks to assemble 7,000 additional cars and meet its 20,181-car target for 2020.

As with ANY first edition launch there have been a couple catastrophic failures I am following.
It was a super bold step to go high output- mid engine for GM

According to the letter above
That is only to fill what has been ordered. No more orders are being taken for the 2020
