There are only two options:

1. Snoozing by about 10:00 pm

2. Overnight fishing trip.

I'm 45 years old and happily married - the New Year's eve party simply does not hold the same luster it used to.

When we travel overseas for the New Year, then we will do the all night party thing. This year, it looks like jammies and pillas by Ten.

Just informed I have a house full of women. GF, her brat and nieces.... No biggy, will be putting final touches on packing for my run south. Go over to Ocean City for 'First Night' and watch the fireworks (this is a first time for me doing that).

We usually get really drunk and then break out all the large caliber weapons around midnight.

Seriously, I can't remember the last time we actually saw the new year come in.

Man, you guys are old!

I got the admiral's clan coming over (4 couples plus several kids.)

I'll be busy cooking the fatted calf--and trying to stay "hydrated."
Any of you old fogies are welcome to throw a coat over your PJ's and come on over--there'll be plenty of food and good cheer for all.

Happy New Year!
