Default Best Sandbar umbrella?

Taking a break from the bilge..

who's got the coolest/best sandbar/beach umbrella and can you link us to it? Looking for something that you screw into the sand, if it had a table for drinks/food that'd be awesome... have seen some home made stuff, but hoping there's something premade out there!!

Not an umbrella per se, but these are great when a bit of breeze and small / light.

Have you looked at umbrella4boats? I have been interested in getting one for the pontoon boat. Seems like a good idea for an in the water umbrella.

From their website...The Shibumi Shade needs a breeze in order to work properly! We find that most beaches get a sufficient (2-5 mph) and consistent breeze probably more than 90% of the time.

However, there are times at the beach when the wind just simply won't cooperate, and that can make Shibumi Shade use difficult. For example, earlier in the day, before the air temperature has had a chance to warm up enough to drive a good breeze, the wind may be too light for ideal use. However, most typical days at the beach are sufficiently windy, particularly by the afternoon.

No idea. I've never been on an ocean facing beach without a breeze, at least that i can remember.

We use a neso, easy to keep in the boat and setup/take down.

Haven’t found an affordable umbrella that I’d recommend but do have an anchor that I love. Holds strong and easy install. Fair warning it makes noise going in and everyone around you will glare at you for bangin it home!!!

Another problem is "too much" wind. Those things are loud as hell.

I like the shibumi shade. It is rare to be on the beach with no wind. A shifting wind can be a pain but the shade is easy to adjust. Every time I don't have to lug that 50 pound 8X8 tent to and from the car to the place we are setting up for the day I tell my self the money was worth it.

We have (2) of these for the beach. Much, much lighter to carry to the beach than an EZ-UP type of canopy. If it's windy or the wind changes direction you have to reposition to keep it facing the wind.

I use one on my center console along with to extendable boat hooks for shade at rear of boat.

I can literally put it up in 2 - 3 minutes and be back to drinking a cold one. Best of all $105
