Suggestions from my son in Montreal

St Laurent street for bars and restaurants

also St Denis street for bars and restaurants, but quieter than St Laurent

Swartz for a Montreal smoked meat sandwich . . . older establishment with great reputation

A walk in "Old Montreal" . . . nice architecture

A hockey game at the new Bell Centre . . . will have to buy tickets from scalpers as Canadians are doing well

have fun

St Catherines used to be my favorite street in Montreal after having gone to a hockey game

St Catherines really went down hill about 15 years ago

It is making a revival, and is now worth returning to

Where are you staying in Montreal ? . . . on vacation ? . . . with the family ?

Staying at Le Centre Sheraton on Boulevard Rene-Levesque West.

Meeting some friends up there for New Years and probably some skiing.

Thanks everyone for your input. And yes I have been to Supersex, but many years ago.I shall return.

You will have to drive north to ski . . . it has been uncharacteristically warm this year
