Default Worst condtions at sea..........

Let's talk about the worst conditions that you ever found yourself in at sea....

Anyone ever see the rear view picture of a small boat ( 20 -23' class ) taking a big wave with about 4 men / women on board ?
I believe the picture was taken in florida - just outside the inlet. The wave is coming right into the center console boat, and I believe they swamped.
It begs the questions
- you've got to be kidding going out in that !!!!
- if it was a " staged" shot, then they were risking drowning !!!

Ever see the black and white photo of the large freighter with a nearly 100' rogue wave bearing down from behind ??? Real photo - incredible.

How about 1994 ,or 95' when the QE 11 was hit by a giant rogue that blasted out windows on the bridge !!!!

Science estimates that a max wave height for a rogue - not a Tsunami wave - but wind, current generated wave is approx 200' max. Wow.

I still can't get this picture thing down right, but I have a series of flood stage Tombigbee River vs Tow boat pictures in my album. Fast river floods are up there with big waves! Can you guess who's in the foreground?
