Default Iverson to Denver

Being an avid Tarheel fan...can George Carl handle Allen Iverson?

Being a bigger College Basketball fan....I'm not sure I care

Disclaimer: I watch ESPN more than anything

thank god, take him, he was a cancer in Philly from the moment he got her. He should be behind bars. But he cried his way out of it. As usual.

AI was the only reason to watch the sixers for the last 5 yrs. Although his off the court antics could get a little tiresome, no one in the NBA played harder or was more exciting to watch. All that said, i agree that it was time for him to go.

I think that Karl, being a big UNC guy and a friend of Larry Brown, probably spoke with Larry about Iverson before the trade was made. One would have to assume that Brown gave his OK on dealing with A.I.

You really think he was bad with his off the court antics? And a cancer? I don't know, I think the guy really settled down once Larry Brown came into town. Lots of players have done alot worse! Maybe he was selfish for many of his years in Philly, but who has he had to pass to? I think there is a lot to be said about his being the all-star game mvp twice. With good players, the guy can be a better assist man than nash if he chooses to do so. I think alot of people became accustomed to his scoring 40+ pt games here in philly and no longer appreciated it. I for one will miss his performances and hustle.
