Default Man killed while attempting to blow up ATM during Philadelphia protests

Another tragic victim

https://nypost.com/2020/06/02/man-di...phia-protests/

A man reportedly died in Philadelphia while attempting to blow up a sidewalk ATM during violent demonstrations Tuesday.
The 24-year-old, whose identity has not been made public, died of upper body trauma after the explosive detonated on the ATM outside of a sports bar around 6:15 a.m., NBC reported.
Police believe the incident occurred during an “organized” and “coordinated” effort targeting ATM machines during the civil unrest around the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
The death came on the fourth day of disruptive protests in Philadelphia as demonstrators take to the streets across American cities to fight police brutality.
Cops told NBC they responded to the scene to find the man as well live explosives and a destroyed ATM. The man was rushed to a hospital where he died, according to the outlet.
The ATM was one of at least 10 machines that were vandalized across the city, NBC reported. The machines were either stolen outright or looted after they were damaged with explosive devices.
No arrests have been made, according to NBC.

Wasted his life trying to loot a few bucks....
Machines should be booby trapped so if tampered with the intruder gets sprayed with some yellow ink that takes years to come out of the skin

I wonder how may personal injury lawsuits are going to pop up due to looters getting injured while breaking into "over fortified" businesses.

The most tragic of them all was the looter stuck under the Fedex truck, I literally had tears coming down my face.

How about a real penalty for those found guilty of looting: No longer eligible for welfare, Medicaid and food Stamps for the rest of their lives. Might make them think twice if the free sneakers are worth it.
