Glen,

Favorite of mine is x-mas vacation with Chevy Chase. Has been a tradition to watch it after Thanksgiving dinner and once or twice b4 X-mas. Cousin Eddie is my all time favorite movie character....Mark

Boy Clark. I haven't seen a beating like that since they stuck a bananna down my pants and turned the monkeys loose.

Last time I was visiting the in-laws at Christmas (they are devoutley catholic and go to church everyday) I rented two movies for a double Feature:

Three Kings....great opening scene

Badder Santa...the unrated version

From the titles alone, they thought they were in for a Christmas Treat

If you're askin' about different ones I have a few suggestions:

Jingle All the Way - lighthearted and funny
Home Alone (the first one) - SO FUNNY!!
Iceage (the first one) - great for kids AND adults

And on a different note......if you're lookin' to REALLY "entertain" the family that visits - try The Ref with Dennis Leary...

That'll curl the mother-in-law's hair~!

Don't get the new Miami Vice......I thought it was painfully slow. Try some lighthearted stuff like.....Deer Hunter, Clockwork Orange or Andromeda Strain.

Griswold's Family Christmas for us. You just need to hum very loud over one bit near the end where he going off on his boss!

We own it and watch it as a family every year. We havent watched it yet this year as I'm waiting for the 46" TV to get here before I do that.

Scrooged with Bill Murray!

Frank Cross: I get it, you're here to show me my past and I'm supposed to get all dully eyed and mushy. Well forget it pal, you got the wrong guy.
Ghost of Christmas Past: That's exactly what Atilla the Hun said. But when he saw his mother, Niagra Falls.

Frank Cross: It's Christmas Eve. It's-it's the one night of the year when we all act a little nicer, we-we-we smile a little easier, we-w-w-we-we-we cheer a little more. For a couple of hours out of the whole year we are the people that we always hoped we would be.

Frank Cross: Claire, the whole world. Whole world, Claire.

Frank Cross: The bitch hit me with a toaster.

Lew Hayward: I was a captain of industry, feared by men, adored by women.
Frank Cross: ADORED? C'mon, let's be honest, Lew. You PAID for the women.

Frank Cross: I want to see her nipples.
Censor Lady: But this is a CHRISTMAS show.
Frank Cross: Well, I'm sure Charles Dickens would have wanted to see her nipples.
Guy who works on set: You can barely see them nipples.
Frank Cross: See? And these guys are REALLY looking.

Roger that, Parkersal!!!!!!!!!!

We love that movie---watch it every year.

The kids love to repeat of the creative language, like "flatulating-butthead!"
