Default New gun purchases during lockdown

What firearm have members been buying during the lockdown?
I bought a Ruger Mark IV last month and last week picked up a Walthers PPQ 9mm.
Our governor has had all gun ranges shut down until last Friday when he opened outdoor ranges.
Got out today and put about 200 rounds each down range. The Walters is a heck of a handgun and the trigger is really as good as the reviews

Been keeping my eyes open, but haven't seen any real discounts on anything I personally find desirable. Also no real drop on the antiques side.

I have added a couple to my growing colt collection. I bought a new in the box unfired Colt Trooper MKIII 8" blued chambered in .22 mag. 1st gen Colt SAA made in 1892 4 3/4" barrel, .45 colt, previous owners grandfather had it nickeled in the late 1940's. Story was he shot it once after having it nickeled and it being a black powder cartridge gun it was a real pain to clean it up so he stuck it in a sock in his closet and never shot it again. I believe this story is mostly true because the gun is as tight as a brand new one and the riflings in the barrel are still very sharp, no drag ring on the cylinder, hammer clicks are sharp and crisp.

Very nice. I have an ivory gripped roll engraved "Frontier Six Shooter" that was produced in either 1898 or 1902...Colt has it narrowed down to those two years. There is a Colt historic service that can date it and authenticate it for about $100.

I love my Mark IV target...

Doing some serious research on the Ruger 57, since I really want something on that caliber and the only other option was the FN which is usually 1100..

Put together a 7.62x39. Itís a Spikes Jolly Roger lower and a PSA upper. Slapped a Nikon 3-9x40 scope on there. Just wanted something in that caliber because itís a cheap 30 caliber to shoot and easy to get.

Only have 200 rounds on it since we have been in lockdown and all ranges were closed here in NJ until this past Friday.
A bit heavy with the bull barrel but good balance to the gun and I like the the break down for cleaning, push the rear button and the barrel pops up and slides out.
Trigger is smooth with a good clean break,
Rear sight is giving me some difficulty, so I need to get more rounds down range and get a better feel for sight picture.

of all the guns I have bought and sold I wish I still had my Ruger mark target pistol.

I have gone gun shopping a couple of different times (Guns are essential business in Alabama and never closed) but I only came away with this.

Have you ever cleaned the Ruger? Careful, very careful. Hardest to clean pistol I own. I ended up sending it back to Ruger to reassemble.
