Default proof that deer have eyes on the back of their heads


my buddy sent me that pic from his trail cam and asked me what i thought that was and i told him that he had proof that deer have eyes on the back of their heads lol, in reality any of u know what that is?

The buck that hangs out across the lane looked like that a week or two ago.

They drop or "shed" them every year and grow a new set. Once about every 10 years I see one during hunting season still in velvet (picture E). Their testicles are either gone or damaged (that's best to check when the deer is expired).
With all they go through (fences, briars, sticks) it's a wonder it doesn't happen more often.




But they are in front of the ears.

Don’t know what’s in the picture. Doubt it’s antlers. Antlers grow in front of the ears. The picture shows behind the ears.

Could be cutaneous fibromas, but looks more like scabs from biting flies and deer scratching.
