Default Masks. How Much $ and where from?

I would like to purchase disposable masks for my family. I can't seem to find any locally that are reasonably priced. $2.50 each for a disposable mask seems like too much money.
Where are you getting your masks from, Thanks.

Can find them all over Amazon and eBay for under a dollar each. I bought them here a few times over the last 3 months, I get them in 3-4 days

I just got an email from WYZE saying they are back in stock

Prices are insane right now.
I paid $4.50 for 50 of the surgical masks 1/26/2020 delivered
I paid $100 for 150 N95 masks 12/7/2019 delivered

I check every Monday as these are for work. really hard to get anything thats quality. I bought 100, N95s from Aliexpress. $2.00 each. They have been sitting for 3 weeks, but im not sure people will wear them. We spent about 2k to improve ventilation but not sure its going to matter.

There will never be a surplus of masks and gloves again IMO.

I purchased some of these out of desperation recently. I've purchased many things from B&H over the years, they are very reliable. The masks are made in China, but they appear to work just fine. I purchased the "GeriGentle" masks.

Stop patronizing the Chinese and the shit they are sending us. 90% of what is being sold on the internet by these pop up companies is counterfeit kn95’s or “surgical masks” that have hardly any filtration in them. Unless you already had a legitimate source for masks...you will be extremely hard pressed to find one now. The legitimate factories who made quality product already have contracts with large distributors in various fields that were using these masks before. The remainder of the product is going to government entities.

With the question reliability of manufacture and with out testing you are honestly better off making an equally worthless homemade cloth mask.

My employees have to be seen with "real" masks. I ordered our first box of 50 for $24. Supply house is reputable- but box is clearly marked and made in China.

Who knows- they could be pre- impregnating masks with the virus for all we know.

For both manufacturing and covid you need masks that will prevent extremely tiny particles from getting through

I’m confused as to why companies such as 3M can’t make available and inundate our country with American Made N95 masks?
Why in God’s green earth is there only Chinese, pre-tainted mask available to the American public?

I, for one will not put one of those POS useless thing on my face!

I thought they made the disposable in USA as well, but either way I didn’t see that as a prerequisite for the question.

You're unfamiliar with the market sir, and could not possibly assess the quality based on a picture. I am happy to provide a spec sheet to anyone who is actually interested. They met the quality and price point needs for us and we bought a quantity for internal use. We have some extra so trying to help others who may need them. I assure you I have no desire to rip anyone off and there isn't much margin in this for us. But that's the great thing about America, you can choose what suits your needs and budget.
