Default Buggati Chiron 304 MPH

Settle in and strap in. You are about to enjoy a ride in the Buggati Chiron that replaced the Veyron which was quite the hotrod. The new Chiron has a 16 cylinder 8liter displacement, 4 turbochargers, a 7 speed transmission with dual clutches and boasts 1500 horsepower The base version of the Chiron is a mere $2,988,000 price tag and if you want the sport handling package just add another $440,000.This test drive is an attempt to break 300 MPH. This car already is scheduled to be replaced by the $5,400,000 Divo.

Considering that probably 100's of millions of dollars went into engineering that car's systems....it was still scary.

Still not as fast as a top fuel dragster, but they don't have to rebuild the engine....

Or turn
Or stop without a parachute
Or use gasoline

Heck, that single 300 mph run is a longer distance than 5 top fuel dragsters will see in their lifetimes combined.

I wonder who will be the first to try 300mph in the US on a public interstate after a few under their belt. I already know the final results, just wondering who will try it.

Where are all the na-sayers saying those speeds aren't possible because of aerodynamics?

I always wanted a car that still had a gear left @ 240 mph.
But not one that an oil change is $21,000.

Unless the resale value on those is as bad as a Fiat 500 in the US, I doubt anyone of the 30 or so US purchasers of said Chiron will do so. If you have an extra $3.5 million for a car laying around you aren't that stupid.

We sell Bugatti. I will take one for a test drive and let you know how it feels.

Not.

We sold several Veyron. Most to plastic surgeons from CA.
