Settle in and strap in. You are about to enjoy a ride in the Buggati Chiron that replaced the Veyron which was quite the hotrod. The new Chiron has a 16 cylinder 8liter displacement, 4 turbochargers, a 7 speed transmission with dual clutches and boasts 1500 horsepower The base version of the Chiron is a mere $2,988,000 price tag and if you want the sport handling package just add another $440,000.This test drive is an attempt to break 300 MPH. This car already is scheduled to be replaced by the $5,400,000 Divo.

Still not as fast as a top fuel dragster, but they don't have to rebuild the engine....

Unless the resale value on those is as bad as a Fiat 500 in the US, I doubt anyone of the 30 or so US purchasers of said Chiron will do so. If you have an extra $3.5 million for a car laying around you aren't that stupid.

Didn't some guy walk to Vegas for $1MM and they made a movie about it? Betting stupid money is in some people's DNA.
