Need to buy one for the Admiral, does it matter where I buy? If so, where do you suggest?

Might look at Mac Mall on the web. Also, Target has them as well as WalMart. Best prices might be on Mac Mall or its companion, PC Mall. Shipping prices are a little bit high, but then what isn't?

I bought my wife a 4 gig Ipod nano at Target $199.00. But go to Cnet.com for reviews and best places to buy.

When I know what I need I use www.pricegrabber.com to compare prices. To check general tech deals I check www.techbargains.com. Many times I find a good coupon to use also.

The Apple stores seem to never run out. Apple products don't usually sell for much of a discount, anyway.

Plus, while you're there, you can play with one of their superb machines and get blown away by OS X....

Costco has the best return policy of any store out there, if you want something electronic i always suggest checking there first, even if it doesn't save you any $ buying it there, it can save some big headaches.

Believe it or not, Radio Shack seems to have a decent selection of lower models. I don't recall seeing anything higher than 40GB though, but I didn't ask either.

They had the shuffle, nano, IPOD and a decent amount of gear too.

Easy to load Music CDs to itunes then to your ipod. However......

Had a box full of old audio cassettes, wanted to put em on my ipod so I bought a unit that transfers the songs, via a cassette player, to itunes, then to my ipod.

It’s called Instant Music from ADS tech on the internet at http://www.adstech.com/products/RDX-...sp?pid=RDX-150

Costs $59.99, works great, in fact I haunt flee markets for cheap audio cassettes to add to my ipod.

Thought you might like to know.

You can buy a refurb directly from apple at
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...nclm=Certified

I believe they have the same warranty as new at huge discount. 4gb nano for $149 and 60gb video for $229.
