Expert gets coronavirus, hospitalized. "If it can take me down, it can take anybody"

He was downgraded from critical late on May 13th.
1) This is an expert. He is a virologist and epidemiologist. Dr. Fair is a specialist in surveillance, diagnostics, pathogenesis, and infectious disease spillover event management. Therefore, he knows exactly what to do, and what not to do, to avoid getting the virus.
2) He is 42 and in excellent health, with no underlying conditions. Exercises 5 to 6 times a week, runs 5 to 10 miles multiple times a week.
3) He believes that he got it on a flight from NY to New Orleans. He was masked, he was gloved, he wiped things down. He suspects infection through his eyes. He said that the flight was crowded, the airline did not follow the procedures they had said they would, and said that when he saw how crowded it was "I should have gotten off the plane".
4) He attempted to self-treat, and only called for an ambulance when he couldn't get a full breath. He acknowledges he probably should have sought treatment sooner.
5) Four different tests (he specified which ones in one video) were performed. All were negative for the virus. He suspects that this is a result of how late in the illness the tests were performed, and that the viral load was too low to register a positive. It also points to the reality that no test is perfect, and some may be worse than others. I'm sure a few will respond "he doesn't have the virus, the tests show that" and "this is the MSM staging a fake event to build viewership, just like we didn't land on the moon and faked that".

As good of a confirmation to not wear a mask as I've seen.
Kidding, kinda.
Also, he's an expert yet got on a giant petri dish? There's your sign...

Everyone is human, and even experts make decisions they later regret. Maybe he had family there, who knows what factors influenced the decision he now regrets.
To my knowledge, medical experts are saying that flying is safe, because of the ventilation systems using outside air, blah, blah, blah. You couldn't pay me to fly on a plane for any reason right now though. I do know that several airlines which had said middle seats would be empty, then didn't follow through. I also heard that Congress, and some government agencies, are looking into how to mandate distancing on airplanes, given they took financial assistance.
Right on the same 1/2 hour, they showed people in Wisconsin at a bar after the court ruled the Stay Home order unlawful. No masks, elbow to elbow. Look for an uptick in Wisconsin since it appears that all guidance was thrown out, it's a total free-for-all. Very few states have no guidance/rules at all, even Florida, Georgia, and Texas aren't that crazy.

This virus isn't going anywhere. We will all be exposed at some point. Those susceptible to the virus will get really sick, may require a hospital visit, and may die. Those not susceptible will get flu symptoms or less. If we get a vaccine and it actually works, then it will be a near miracle.

What amazes me is that anyone would question WI? As of today we live in America, stay home if you want, go out if you want!! God Bless our Supreme Court.....

So I’m confused. Four separate tests confirmed he doesn’t have the virus. But yet he's convinced he does somehow have the virus based on symptoms alone. And then goes on the Today Show discussing his ailment to garner more media attention (for something which is clearly not the dreaded covid virus).
You keep pushing quarantine for all mankind until the positive test rates meet the minimum government mandates. Then you post this guy up as your hero but yet he tested negative in four separate tests. So are you saying the tests aren’t accurate? And therefore, the quarantine mandates are illogical since it’s obvious the tests don’t work? What exactly is your position?

Sure, lots of people are able to get it. But obviously, the adverse medical effects are insignificant to most folks. I’m more worried about idiots driving 2k-10k# vehicles around me.
