Can you post a copy of your qualifications to make that assessment?

Last week North Texas was a little slow reopening, but I started to see some momentum on the journey back to somewhat normal this weekend.
On another note, Lowes and Home Depot were jammed on the weekend. Limits of 250 shoppers at a time at my local Home Depot and there was still a line outside.

I will welcome being wrong. I have no desire to see people ill or dying. But not even the first criteria established to reopen has been met in most of the states reopening. You can't open a nail salon and think it's not going to end badly.

So what you're saying is you're just parroting what you're told.

Our Lowes here in Pompano beach, is not enforcing a store minimum, and we're in a "hot zone"

TX is "open" and so are GA and TN. Let's wait a few weeks and we will know whether opening was the right call. I hope it is.

The key is how much it really matters. I'm afraid the damage to the economy is too substantial for any "successful" reopening in any one state, or even the whole USA, to make much difference at this point.

14% or the projected 25% unemployment and the loss of many major industries for at least the foreseeable future... are not things an economy recovers from in a matter of months or even a year or two.

China just got their first small outbreak after reopening Wuhan.

Great idea - as long as everyone that goes to Lowes only goes to Lowes and no where else.

South Korea is trending back up as is another country (don't have it in front of me) that relaxed rules.

Difference between South Korea and these states is night and day though - because South Korea actually used DATA and stuff, versus not even meeting basic criteria before reopening.

People are focusing on the wrong information. There is not an overrun in Texas, nor has their been to this point, on the ICU's treating covid patients. The shelter in place was never meant to stop the spread, it was meant to slow the spread. It has done that. The virus has to work through society. Opening up is the correct decision to help do that as long as the system is not being overrun. You cannot shelter in place for ever, nor can you expect that doing that is going to somehow magically make it go away.

They also don't have the expectation of uninhibited capitalism.
