I've got plenty of cajun buds & damn near all of them can cook their "mouth full of gravel" arses off! I learned to NEVER ask them what they have prepared for you. Just keep the cold beer handy & enjoy the feast. It's liable to be roadkill they picked up on the way to your house but suffice it to say, it'll be DAMN GOOD so no harm no foul!

I've never had smoked gator either, but I love me some fried gator tail!

The gator is also stuffed with sausage.

Never had Crawfish!
I'm not a fan of gator, had it a couple times but a good Crawfish boil with the corn, shrimp, potatoes and sausage is hard to beat.

You must have had a special gator, lobster would be the last thing I would compare a gator tail to. It reminds me of a cross between dark meat chicken and pork.
