Default UPDATE - Herniated lumbar disc

Came home from the hospital this am after yesterdays lumbar surgery. Hopped up on Perkaset (sp.?) so bear with me. Turns out not just herniated but ruptured, same type repair though, I guess. Up and walking at the hospital this morning, haven't taken my afternoon stroll yet. 90% of numbness that was on left shin is gone, all leg & hip pain gone. No back pain while sitting (briefly) or while laying down. I was very happy not to wake up in the morgue , and I'm glad the surgeon didn't slip and paralize me . Thanks for everyone's concern and prayers. That's enough sitting up, back to the couch.

Baypro, this is the chance of a lifetime, if you milk this juuuuuust right you could have bedside service for weeks, even months to come........... Glad everything went okay, but don't recover too quickly..... you need rest and a little bell to ring when you need something......

It's fixed. But it's now up to you to keep it that way.

Good luck.
