Default Metal Pole Barn

Looking to have a metal pole barn put up in my yard. I am in Montgomery, AL. Wanted to see who you all have used and recommend. I am guessing in the 24' x30' approx. size. To house a 23ft CC and a 18ft flats boat.

Thoughts? Recommendations?

Thanks.

Yeah, thanks! I already have 1, its a wooden pole barn, that probably 30'x30' that houses atvs, tractors, etc. this one will be beside that one to keep the boats covered.

i think any of the red iron buildings are good. there are some metal ones in that range that use galvanized square tubing, would probably work fine, they just dont seem as strong to me!

I'm sure there is a metal building / shed builder near by. Had mine built by K & G Metals in north Alabama, Al

bertsville. Go in with your miniumn height and width and pad size . Paid around $ 13,000.00

Get with a builder, not someone selling carports and such. Tubing was 3"x 2" and heavier than than a carport type. Look at K&G Metals website for the differant types of buildings. Have a picture of what you want in your mind/on paper, with your miniunm on width and heights so boat will fit. MIne is 40' x 40' pad with 16' in center for RV and 12' open on one end and an enclosed 30' x 12' cabin. Everything was near $ 30,000.

If your looking for just a cover, I paid 5K for this 18 x 40. It`s rated for 150mph. Had to have it rated as this is within 5 miles of the beach.

Love the steel 'carports' I have two at the Florida place, inexpensive, and all you need to give them is a flat area. One is 13 x 17 the other 22' x 22' the bigger one was like $1400 installed. They show up and it is complete in under two hours. Talk about instant gratification!
Just as a comparison..... I just abandoned this project for here in SD, was going to add to the entrance of my garage. Just decided I didn't really want another structure on the flat. About 26' square and 8' clear height. Materials from Menards worked out right at $3000 plus it would've been about $2000 in labor which would include a Bobcat with auger.
