Fastest I've done since C-19 hit was 6:08. I'm not a runner and hate it. Guess it's due to running being used as punishment in high school

Ironic thread. Fiance' and I have started running the last couple days. Fastest I've ever run it was in my late 20's and it was the 1.5 mile at 9:50. I guess that probably would have put me around the 6 min mark for a mile.

You need a sundial to time my mile now.

last time I ran I had an obnoxious marathon runner houseguest. She kept talking abuot how "non runners" couldn't run a mile. Wound up betting me $20 I couldn't run an eight minute mile, after a huge meal and a lot of drinks. I won the bet but my calves were torn up for a week.

Very impressive! I ran a 6 flat in high school once and was proud of it lol. 30 years and a hundred pounds later I can't get out of bed without something hurting. I'd have to stop halfway and smoke a heater now which would kill my time.

Feel like I ought to throw it out there that in no way shape or form do I think my poverty 7:35 mile is impressive.

I threw this out there thinking some of you may be as bored as me and throw on your gym shorts for some competition.
