Default What to listen to on 6 hour drive?

I've got a 6 hour solo drive tonight. Need something to listen to on the road. I've exhausted the Ted talks I can find that I want to hear. Any good mid-atlantic fishing pod casts out there? Anything else to listen to? Yeah, yeah... music. Looking for something entertaining or educational. Don't have sirius, but can listen to phone/internet over truck stereo.

Something a little different that I have enjoyed in the past is A Prairie Home Companion. Might not be your cup of joe, but check it out here https://www.prairiehome.org/

There is a Podcast narrated by “Dan Carlin” called Hard Core History that goes from ancient times up till the Cold War and covers most critical events in between. I enjoyed it throughly. It kept me entertained for a long time on my 170 mile each way weekly commute. A single 6 hour drive will give you a chance to listen to a couple of episodes......

Some of the really good semi-current podcasts in the "who dunnit" vein: To Live and Die In LA, Doctor Death, Culpable, Over My Dead Body, Gladiator...

Any one of these will make a 6 hour drive fly by quickly.

It’s very interesting and Carlin is a captivating speaker. All episodes are good but I think I liked his episodes on WWI the best. Some topics are multi episode but otherwise you can jump around between topics/periods if you like.

Joe Rogan has some interesting guests. His Musk interview is a good listen.

You can do a 30 day free trial on Audible (I think) and pick out a book. I did before I subscribed.
My commute each day is 80 miles to and from work.
