Sandwich is 2 separate peices of bread...a hot dog has a conjoined bun...so that rule does not apply

So, a pocket sandwich (e.g. a pita) is not a sandwich? Webster's says that a sandwich can include a split roll. A hot dog bun or a pita is a split roll.

Technically speaking its not a sammich without Dukes.....4 more months I can enjoy these again....

I started to think the same thing, but then thought of a sub...err submarine sandwich. As long as there is meat between two layers of bread it is a sandwich. You vegans that eat tomato and bread together are insulting sandwiches everywhere.

You sir...are correct. Sammich = 2 slices of bread, each slathered completely with Dukes Mayonnaise.......+ really anything else you wish (or the dishwasher on your behalf) to add.

Either you or your dish washer has mastered the art of properly dispersing Dukes Mayonnaise on a slice of bread. I do however question....why did you only put it on one of the two slices. That sir...Tomato sammich fail.
