"Each pair of co-branded footwear comes with two Jibbitz™
...charms made to
resemble and smell like fried chicken."

I give up

I just can't come to grips with the fact that people were actually paid to conceive of the idea, market the idea, make the product, and that there were folks in management signing off on all that along way thinking, "Oh yeah, that's certainly a good idea."

WTF ?!?!

I give up too. My brain must be obsolete. Lol.

When I ran a retail store thats the kind of stuff I would buy. A small retailer cant compete with the big dogs. So I made sure much of what I sold was unique and not commonly available at Macys, walmarts etc. The crazy off the wall stuff always sold out first. Especially when it came to mens board shorts. Guys always wanted to have a pair more bizarre then all their friends.

If their Crocs are as good as their chicken, and they look like they are you couldn't give them to me.

How can I have KFC crocs with no Texas Pete crocs? That would be as ridiculous as having Peter Pan peanut butter crocs and no Welch's grape jelly ones.

Because they got you talking about it and discussing it. No such thing as bad advertising. Not every ad has to have images that appeal to your sense of hunger. If folks talk about KFC and their ads then when these same folks are hungry unbeknownst to them some will go to KFC because they were just talking about it. The mind is a crazy thing. Almost like brain washing you without you realizing it.

I get what you're saying, but the bottom line is, until somebody buys 'em, the marketing hasn't worked. And who the hell's gonna buy those things ?!?!

Then again it wouldnt surpirise me if they caught on with the low trouser wearers. OMG. I can see it already.

I'd hate to wear those deep into downtown of my beloved Memphis. (Well honestly I'd hate to actually BE deep into downtown Memphis, regardless of what my "ground pieces" were!)

Better have "Usain Bolt" speed in those masterpieces around here!

I hope I can get my hands on some and sell on eBay to some idiot who has to have them no matter the cost. Remember the fire log?
