Pretty bike, sort of high on miles. It's really worth what someone will pay for it, has a lot of custom stuff on it, but nothing too special.

It's worth about $5-6000 realistically, assuming no mechanical issues.

Been riding Harleys forever, that thing would never see close to $5,000.00 from me. I better I could find a stock ( much prefered ) 2002 Deuce for $5,000.00. The paint is UGLY, whoever did it.

To Each thier own. Its not really my taste either, but I am not really a Harley Guy either.

MikeeBooshay,
Does the Trailer have any Value? And I thought that sounded like high miles too.

I really only want 4800 for the SUV.. I am worried, with the odd color it would be a hard sell if I wanted to sell it......

That is ALOT of miles for a Deuce. The color might make that one a hard resell also.

If you do not want to keep and ride it, hold out for cash for your SUV

Not a road king or glide, higher mileage than preferred, $4200 plus $300 for trailer, doing the custom thing actually decreases value and makes them harder to sell....were the cam chain tensioners taken care of???? used bike market is VERY soft and will continue to be for years to come....if you like the bike and will ride it, do it, if not, offer $4000 for package....

There’s a reason he’s looking to trade. That won’t be an easy bike to sell.
I’d be wary of the quality of the modifications done too.

4-5k and you will wait a while to get that if you try to sell.

i barely squeezed 4500 out of an ‘02 Heritage. Original but for pipes, cam and tune and very pretty bike but 50k miles hurt me when I put it for sale.

After selling my 2006 in 2019- I agree with this, especially with the miles

You got a bunch of other answers on here too, the trailer is worth maybe $200.

Personally, I wouldn't trade for it unless I planned to ride it. And I am not loving that bike enough to ride it versus either of the two I already own. Likely he's trying to trade it, because he couldn't sell it.

You're going to put money in it right from the get go
Doubt you're going to like those dog bone risers. Changing them out you will also need new cables and a set of handle bars

Biggest turnoff is the paint and miles. By the time you spend $1500 painting the tins you still have a 4500-5000 bike at best. Unfortunately he’s have to give you the bike for about $1500. But if he does my parents aren’t far from you. I’ll come get it for that much lol

This ....
2500.00 bike all day long. I've owned a few Harley's. That is a TON of miles for that bike. Hard to sell because of that. You won't get hurt at 2500, put it on Craigslist for 3500 & take 3k.
Just my two cents.

Thanks everyone! My Father in law has a 2017 883 Iron that he cant ride anymore that I have taken over. I think I would ride it before this Softail. I like the idea of the 1450 motor but I DONT like the Handlebars. Looks like a Pass!

I could probably paint the Tins myself but I am not sure I have the free time to get it done in less than 6 months to do it right.

Thanks again THT brain trust!
