Saw it was coming back. Still while it will be a very good gun my bet is no where near like the “old” Snakes

And to think I only paid $400 for mine back when, wish I had kept it.

That price tag is crazy.
If there was some current State of the Art technology or design making it superior or they're using meteor chunks I could see a $1500 tag.............

Must be the Exotic wood grips.

If it has as much hand fitting as the old Pythons $1500 isn't that high. Price any of the premium 1911's lately?

I am sure it will have very little hand tuning...all those guys are gone at Colt that did that......

Buddy of mine is a Colt fanatic and spoke to the factory at length one time a while ago about a problem he was having with a snake gun..They gave him a couple of suggestions who might be able to help with his gunsmith needs..

I paid $350 for mine in about 1973 and sold it for $2000 to a dealer in 2015. Had too many guns and didn't think the prices would still be escalating.

Yes it's back! Not hand made like the old ones but according to reviews (which are excellent) it's better than the "old" python.

New is half the price of a used Python , it could be better......... They have my interest
