You get a D+ for effort. Come on, you can come up with something better than that. I know you can.

Whom?

Well I tried calling the cops via 911 once. There was a guy randomly trying to enter the homes of several old ladies in my neighborhood. I was surrounded by old ladies by the way. Wife and I witnessed him from our porch at 10 PM on a Friday night while we sat in the dark. I called 911 when we saw this. I was told to let the police handle it and not try to confront him myself. I was ready with my old .357 carbine rifle anyway. Well, the cops never showed up and the guy evidently left without getting access. He looked like he was drunk and confused, but who was I to make that determination from 100 feet away?

Fast forward to 2 weeks later, to the day. Same thing happened, Called 911. Took rifle from it's case, went outside in pursuit, but lost sight of him. Waited for the police who never arrived. Did a search and did not find him. Who knows where he ended.

So much for calling them when you need help..

The police officer who was shot was flown to Wake Forest Baptist Health in North Carolina for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. He was released on Tuesday.
This happened on Wednesday and he time traveled back a day.
